The exhibition “Nikola Tesla – the Man for the Future”, where some of the greatest inventions and patents of the famous scientist were presented, was opened on May 15, 2023. in the Military Academy. Opening the exhibition, the head of the Military Academy, Col. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Srđan Blagojević pointed out that thanks to, first of all, his exceptionality and genius, but also character traits such as persistence, dedication and asceticism, Nikola Tesla succeeded in what no one before him had done. Colonel Blagojević emphasized that based on Tesla’s research and discoveries, the world today can boast of many achievements of the first and second industrial revolutions.
The director of the Nikola Tesla Museum, Ivona Jevtić, said that apart from numerous museum collections, the Museum proudly preserves Tesla’s personal archive and library. Director Jevtić pointed out that the Museum has more than 160,000 original documents, about 2,000 books and magazines, more than 1,200 technical exhibits and about 2,500 photographs, glass photo plates, plans and drawings.
