Tesla’s tower

Tesla’s tower on Long Island began construction in 1901 and was intended to become the World Center for Wireless Transmission of signals, messages, images, sound, and energy. Tesla never managed to complete this project, and the idea of wireless energy transmission has not been realized to this day.
