As part of the series Guide Through Cultural Institutions at the Kraljevo Library, the Nikola Tesla Museum was presented – an institution that preserves the authentic legacy of the great scientist.
The presentation was given by curator Vladimir Perić, who reminded the audience that the Museum was founded in 1952 in Belgrade and opened to the public in 1955. Thanks to Sava Kosanović, Tesla’s nephew, Tesla’s personal legacy was transferred to Belgrade in 1951. Today, the Museum safeguards more than 160,000 original documents.
Perić highlighted key facts about Tesla’s life and work, while the youngest visitors especially enjoyed the replicas of Tesla’s patents, which they were able to explore up close.
