The first constructed interactive model of Tesla Fan in the World. Its construction originated from the design presented in Tesla’s original technical drawing dated April 20th, 1911 and preserved at the Nikola Tesla Museum. The operation of the ventilator is based on Tesla’s original principle of fluid propulsion and represents an application of Tesla’s original idea of machines exchanging energy with fluids using smooth rotating disks set in parallel. These friction turbines don’t have the conventional working circuits with blades or pistons.

Unlike other various types of pumps and turbines that Tesla protected with patents and attempted to commercialize over the period from 1907 to 1927, this solution for a ventilator was never patented by Nikola Tesla.
