The only portret of Nikola Tesla was made by his friend and Hungarian princess Vilma Lwoff-Parlagi. While posing for this painting, Tesla request to put ligtht in room through blue glass, and that is why the name of the painting is “Blue portrait”. The original painting is in Germany, in Nordsee Museum in Husum.
