The Nikola Tesla Museum, in cooperation with the National Museum of Valjevo, will present the exhibition “Nikola Tesla – The Man from the Future.”
The visuals displayed on specially designed panels tell the story of the life and work of one of the greatest scientists of all time. Tesla’s work, which can be divided into three segments (induction motors and the polyphase system, high-frequency currents, and mechanical engineering), is accompanied by working models that showcase some of his most important inventions, such as the induction motor with a disc-shaped rotor, the “Egg of Columbus,” the Tesla coil, and the Tesla pump.
The exhibition is further enriched with scale models of some of Tesla’s most significant projects, including the hydroelectric power plant at Niagara Falls, the Colorado Springs laboratory, the famous Long Island tower, as well as copies of several documents from Tesla’s archive, which has been inscribed in UNESCO’s Memory of the World Register.
